Starcon - Jan Williams

Got a few more photos signed by Jan Williams - Robert Shaw's maseuse in From Russia With Love.

Jan is always absolutely lovely. She didn't do anymore acting after FRWL, and now works at the UK's best known department store (in Knightsbridge) as a Personal buyer.

Andy (Disco Volante) was looking after Jan on the stand - good to meet him too!

Starcon - George Leech 2

these are the rest of the George Leech photos signed at Starcon ...

Starcon - George Leech

One of the greatest stuntman ever - George Leech. I have met George a couple of times (at Pinewood where he signed my programme and an OHMSS multi-sign), and at the 40th anniversary of Thunderball screening at Cine de Luminere. I didn't have specific photos of George at either of these shows, so it was good to get to meet him again.

Starcon - Jerry Baker

Another first for me - Jerry Baker who played one of Stromberg's crewmen in The Spy Who Loved me (in the orange suits). Jerry was telling me how amazing the set was - that the submarines moved....sounded great!

I got three signatures from Jerry - one by himself (as he is now), and two multi-signs from the Submarine bay (both of which I intend to complete with as many crewmembers as I can) - the first is now signed by Curt Jurgens, Shane Rimmer and Jerry Baker, the secound by Shane Rimmer, Garrick Hagon and Jerry Baker.

Starcon - Derek Lyons 2

here's the rest of the Derek Lyons shots I got on Saturday...

Starcon - Derek Lyons

This was the first time I've met Derek Lyons. Great gut too ... he played one the MI6 agents helping Q get Jeroem Krabbe (General Koskov) across the border.

Starcon - David Decio

This was the second time I'd met David Decio - fab guy (who my little sister has a massive crush on now!). I tool her to Autographia in March - which was when I first met David, and she was besotted from then. The photo above is a picture of my sister with David - David is putting a similar picture on his website (www. daviddecio.com)....check out his site. I'd recommend popping along to see him a show if he's there!

I'm now the proud owner of 12 signed photos from David, and I'll be getting some more at the next show (now that he has told me about some rare shots on disc 2 of the special edition "DAD" DVD.

Starcon - Caroline Bliss

Just one Caroline Bliss this time, as I got a lot from her at Memorabilia - I need to find some new shots for the next show as I had them all!

What a great person she is though - she's now a drama teacher in Devon, and is married to Andy Secombe (who plays Watto in Star Wars)

Starcon - Carole Ashby 2

here's the other Carole Ashby's I had signed (there are some more but these were multi-signs - see Mary Stavin and Helene Hunt entries).

These are promotional model shots - with the exception of the AVTAK press shot with Roger Moore.

Starcon - Carole Ashby

some more Carole Ashby's to add to the collection - she is fab! Great to talk to. She was talking about an F1/nascar/indy hybrid race that her husband (and ex F1 driver - Jean) is organising in Las Vegas for a couple of years' time - can't wait to go!

All of these shots are from Octopussy

Starcon - Britt Ekland 2

These are the rest of the Britt Ekland shots I had signed - including one multi-sign with Maud Adams - a rare press-call shot from The Man with the Golden Gun.

Starcon - Britt Ekland

Britt Ekland was one of the biggest stars at Starcon. I've met Britt a number of times - she's always fantastic, and she now remembers my name at the shows ... I'm flattered. I was greeted with "Hello Mr.Honeyball - how are you?"

I got another 7 shots signed by Britt bringing my Britt collection to well over 30.

Starcon - Burt Kwouk 2

these are the rare 8x10 BW shots from Casino Royale - Burt had never seen these before...

Starcon - Burt Kwouk

This was the first time that I'd met Burt Kwouk....what a great guy! I got shots from Casino Royale (which he said he'd never seen before and were extremely rare), YOLT and Goldfinger.

These shots are from Goldfinger and YOLT (bottom)

He's still a comedian - he was telling allsorts of jokes and making Martine Beswicke, Earl Cameron, Shirley Eaton and Tania Mallet laugh.

Starcon - Alkis Kritikos 3

and some more (well - not sure if he'll do another show so I had to get a few!!!)...
